Traveling Tips -

  • Share your location with at least one of your closest friends or family member.
  • Use Apple AirTags to keep track of your keys, luggage, bags, and more.
  • Have the hotel address written down to show your driver, in case your phone dies.
  • Be sure that the credit cards you are taking do not charge foreign transaction fees.
  • Get out of your comfort zone by trying different foods, and chatting with locals. Don't be afraid to try some street foods!
  • Pack thin/packable towels. There are some inexpensive, rolled towel options on Amazon!
  • If something feels off, trust your intuition.
  • The Early Bird gets the worm! -Mornings are quieter and have much better photo ops.
  • Keep an extra credit card in a separate bag,

just in case.

  • Layer up on the plane. Planes are colder, and this will save space in your luggage.
  • Speaking of packing, I'd suggest packing light. As majority of the time, not all items are needed.
  • Learn a few key phrases in the language of which is spoken  in the country you plan to visit. ("Where is the restroom?", "Please", "Thank You", Etc.)
  • Download the Google Translate App.
  • Also, download offline maps for the area you are visiting.
  • ALWAYS travel with Travel Insurance! You never know what could happen. Medical emergencies, stolen/lost luggage, lost passports, cancelled flights.
  • Carry earplugs + an eye mask. Noisy neighbors, loud music, crowded trains.
  • Bring a First Aid Kit. Add in electrolytes and ginger candy to help settle an upset stomach and nausea.
  • Pack a spare phone charger + portable power bank to keep your battery charged on the go.
  • Carry an empty water bottle in your carry-on bag to refill at the water stations inside the airports.
  • Pack your toothbrush and swimwear in your carry-on. This way if your luggage is lost or delayed you can still have clean teeth and relax at the pool or beach!
  • Don't forget your sunscreen!
